Sephora Mini Haul

It was a first for me using all of these products, for the most part. I’ve been using the Tom Ford shimmering oil for a while now but it’s not everyday I want to be sparkling so when Sephora sent out emails of promotions I ran to the nearest store to pick these up. I’m a much bigger fan of the regular body oil. For one, you get more for your buck; and two, it’s definitely more wearable.

My sister recommended Ceramidin Cream for everyday use. I had been using LaMer moisturizing soft cream for a while but every now and then I switch it up for a little while. If you know more than me, let me know if that’s bad or good. For one, it’s extremely hydrating. However, running out the door right after application in this South Florida heat does make my face feel like it’s perspiring.

I stumbled upon the Laneige lip mask and for 20$ and what it’s said to be, I said why not. I’ve only used it a couple times but so far so good. I suffer from dry lips no matter what I use. So, anything that helps even a little is great. And the little applicator is so cute and super useful.

I’ve tried so many LaMer products and can’t really complain about any so I finally decided to try the Micellar Cleansing Water. I literally don’t wear any makeup, at least for the last couple months, so I don’t have serious cleansing to do. For my needs, it works just perfect!

OldSchool can be NewSchool

I know it’s neither throwback Thursday or flashback Friday but any day is appropriate for my ode to an OG fashionista like Courtney Trop of “Always Judging”. Personally, I’m a bigger fan of her circa 2014, more or less when these pics were taken. Everyone has the right to evolve, though, so kudos to her for being true to her stylish self. Once a fan, always a fan!

New Shoes Cure the Blues

New shoes cure the blues….My motto whenever I’m feeling down (which is hardly ever but it’s better to have them there in case I do). Hence, my most recent purchase.

Gucci Princetown Mules: the perfect twist on their classic and extremely comfortable loafers. Yes the pricetag was above what I would have wanted it to be but then I thought, “Buy the shoes, no use being the richest bitch in the cemetery…” I swear though, that the cost per wear will be so low given I can’t seem to take them off. Don’t know what that is? Read here http://www.gq.com/story/cost-per-wear-magic

Of course I couldn’t just buy black, besides they were on back order until November. So, I chose my next favourite colour. I mean, Life is too short to wear boring shoes… Yes I get stares but people will stare regardless so give them a reason to.

The motto of the tale is – You can’t buy happiness but you can buy shoes and that’s the same thing…

P.s. Quotes were taken from google…C’mon I’m that clever but people have been swooning over shoes long before I was born.

Stay Tuned

Olsens X3

The only thing more eye pleasing on a red carpet than two Olsens is three. Always chic as ever, they gave us one more photo to add to our ‘Olsen Twins’ fashion album on our computers. If you currently don’t have one, you should def get on that. Decked out in all black, head-to-toe The Row ensembles, the live up to their names and in true CFDA Awards Red Carpet Style. Are they currently interviewing for another sister??
